Three days away from Thanksgiving already!!!

Speaking of ‘flying’ …

Full story here:  “Three days away from Thanksgiving already!!!”… at with pictures!

New Posts at!

I have written and published new posts at and one of the posts has pictures and a video clip!

Hope everyone is having a Great New Year!

Whew…is this month busy and in a GOOD way!

If you get the chance, check out the photo contest over at iliveinmycamera and vote for your favorite.  Although I have not had the time to enter in a while, I still stop by now and then to see what they are up to.  Some cute photos of Christmas Decorations this week and voting is open until Friday at Midnight.  I do hope to get the chance to enter again soon.

Also, I am still actively on; however, I am making most of my postings on my new personal blog at so you are welcome to check it out as well

Yes! … :-0 …I do still exist 8-D

I recently experienced a ‘wild hair’ and decided to learn some Cascading Style Sheet (CSS) Web Design …Now… if you know me… you KNOW that I HATE programming even though I can usually puzzle it out ; but some how I have taken new interest in Web Design since I started my first Blog on Xanga and after seeing what was possible from viewing AND reading the posts at!

I WILL NOT, however, call CSS, ‘programming’ any more than I will give in to the construct that Pluto is no longer classified as a planet!!!! .  Because, to me, CSS is not as abstract and confusing () as the programming (‘C’ language) that I had to take for my Management Information Systems/Operations Management (MIS/OM) Bachelors of Science (BS) degree at the University of Arizona with all the ‘for’ and ‘if then’ statements that usually ended up in a nasty looping mess !?!?!?.

So…I asked Andy, my husband and best friend, to teach me the basics (and I continue to request help when I get stuck) on setting up and configuring my own blog with my own domain where I have more extensive room for creativity .  Thus, my new Blog of my own domain was ‘born’: <>!  Andy is an excellent tutor; but please don’t tell him that I said so .

You are invited to drop on by and check it out often; but be warned, I am and will be learning the intriqacies of CSS for quite a while as I get configured to my liking so please don’t let the constant changes over there scare you away or keep you from providing me constructive and valuable feedback and comments .

I like the community here at Xanga still, as well; and the Photo Contest at iliveinmycamera is, to me, a ‘not-to-be-missed’ blogger-tunity!   So, I will still keep this blog open and active.  I will just not be using it as much as I was and other than the occasional posting here and there, about or to, the Photo Contest or something related to my Xanga friends, I will put my Picts, Vid Clips, and main postings on

See you over there ( AND over here ( !  And they both are RSS feed capable so you can subscribe to them in your RSS Reader

Aloha and Happy Blogging!
